If your company has joined Seed Workspace at any point this year, you’ve probably already had the chance to meet Rick Fleming, our director of leasing!
Born in Joliet, Illinois about 20 miles southwest of Chicago, Ricky moved to Delray Beach, Florida in 2018 to escape the cold weather and savor the state’s beautiful beaches. He started working at Seed Workspace in January 2020 and instantly fell in love with the location in the heart of Delray Beach.
“Seed Workspace is located in arguably the most convenient place you could think of in Delray Beach,” says Ricky. “We’re right in the Whole Foods Plaza, which has pretty much everything you need from a veterinarian and dentist to restaurants and a gym. I can’t think of a more ideal location to house your business!”
A typical day for Ricky includes opening the co-working space, making sure everything is in order within the office and then local outreach via email and phone to those that may be open to switching to a flexible office space. When he’s not working with potential new tenants to add to Seed Workspace’s robust list, Ricky talks with current members to ensure they have everything they need for a successful day.
One of the things that Ricky loves most about working at Seed Workspace is being part of a one-of-a-kind space and interacting with people from various work backgrounds.
“I couldn’t ask for a better group of people at Seed Workspace,” Ricky says. “Everyone here is extremely nice and the vibe within the space is unexplainable. It motivates me to be at work every day!”
When he’s not in the office, Ricky can most likely be found at the dog park with his terrier lab mix. He also enjoys playing poker with a group of friends every Tuesday night.
